Indian Head Nickel Buffalo Leather Money Clip/Card Holder
The classic Indian Head Nickel is hand cut, electroplated with 24K gold highlights and mounted in a handcrafted silver shadow box setting on to the unique buffalo leather money clip/card holder. Each letter in the word LIBERTY is meticulously hand cut. These handsome coins were minted from 1913 to 1938. The identity of the Native Americans whom the sculptor, James Earle Fraser, used as models for the design is somewhat uncertain. Most accounts from the U.S Mint state that the portrait is a composite.
