Mercury Dime Buffalo Leather Money Clip/Card Holder
This small, silver coin is intricately cut out with a small jeweler’s saw, preserving the date, the word LIBERTY and In God We Trust. The letters LIBERTY, In God We Trust, the date and Liberty’s hair are electroplated with 24K gold highlights, mounted in a handcrafted silver shadow box setting and riveted on to the unique buffalo leather money clip/card holder. The Mercury Dime is also referred to as the Winged Liberty Head dime but gained its common name because of the depiction the young Liberty wearing a winged cap was often confused with the Roman god Mercury.
