Walking Liberty Money Clip
The Walking Liberty Half Dollar is a silver coin minted from 1916 to 1947. This range of years included the coin's introduction during World War 1, the Great Depression and World War 2. The design features a stylistic and strong representation of the United States, a fitting image for the time period.
The obverse (front/head side) of the coin depicts the full figure of Lady Liberty, with a long gown and American flag draped across her shoulders billowing around her. In one hand, she holds a bouquet of olive branches, while the other is held out stretched before her. The sun is rising before her with the inscription of "Liberty" widely spaced above and "In God We Trust" behind her. Every letter and number on the coin is hand cut and electro plated with platinum & 24k gold. The coin has a diameter of 30mm.
